Community Youth Programs

Upward Bound Youth believes every child needs “TLC!” Tender loving care is vital to a child’s well-being. We also hold to the principle that Truth, Love, and Character are essential tools that equip a child to develop as a youth and succeed as an adult.

Our Goal

Enable youth, in a safe and nurturing environment, to develop healthy life habits and to equip them to succeed in life by helping them reach their full potential; mentally, physically, and morally.

Our Methods

Model
Truth, love and character can be taught. It is better understood and individually developed when it is seen in others.
Mentor
A trusting, caring, long-term relationship fosters the best environment for all learning. Upward Bound Youth seeks to provide this relationship and resources to equip young men and women to reach their God-given potential.
Mobilize
To engage youth in activities that provide opportunities for personal growth and community service. Upward Bound Youth also seeks to enlist young men and women in their unique “Young Entrepreneurs Society”, a program that develops knowledge of gardening, craft making, business, and financial skills.

Who We Are

Upward Bound Youth is about equipping youth to become responsible leaders that exemplify truth, love, and character in their decisions and actions. We are also a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization so your donations are tax deductible.
